"Stories of the Sloughs" Short Film Screening

  • Marathon County Public Library 300 1st Street Wausau, WI, 54403 United States (map)

Join 350 Wisconsin for an evening of art, culture, and climate action!
We’ll begin with a special screening of Stories of the Sloughs (approx. 30 mins), a moving short film that explores the cultural and ecological significance of the Kakagon Sloughs through the voices of the Bad River Band of the Lake Superior Tribe of Chippewa Indians.

After the film, take part in Fish for the Future, a region-wide effort to break the world record for origami fish! By folding fish together, we’ll raise awareness about threats facing the Great Lakes, including climate change and the Line 5 oil pipeline.

RSVP HERE.
