On April 18, 2025, students and community advocates from across Southwest Michigan will take to the streets in Kalamazoo demanding urgent climate action. They call specifically for the protection of Michigan’s Clean Energy Future Plan, the shut down of Enbridge’s Line 5 pipeline, and climate action from their schools and governmental leaders. At 12:00 pm, the march will depart from Heritage Hall and travel through downtown Kalamazoo, stopping briefly at the ‘Gateway of Kalamazoo’ (Stadium/Oakland/Lovell) for a short demonstration before continuing to WMU’s Central Campus.
March Location: Starting at Heritage Hall, 625 Oakland Dr, Kalamazoo, MI 49007
